What Turrar is

Turrar is a directory and calendar for live poker events that take place at licensed physical venues. Players use it to discover upcoming tournaments at the rooms they're members of; pokerroom owners use it to schedule events, manage member access, and send invite links.

What Turrar is not

The app itself does not host, broker, or facilitate gambling transactions. There is no in-app gambling simulation, no virtual currency, and no real-money wagering inside the app. Buy-ins, prize pools, and tournament structures are displayed as information about the live events, but every actual financial transaction happens between the player and the operating venue, in person, at the venue.

Why the 18+ rating

The 18+ rating reflects the gambling-adjacent context of the content — real-money buy-in amounts, prize pools, and tournament structures are visible — and exists to ensure users have the context to understand what live poker tournaments involve before attending one.

Age verification for participation in any tournament listed in Turrar happens at the door, by the operating venue, in accordance with the venue's local regulations (typically 18+ in most European jurisdictions, 21+ in some United States jurisdictions). The Turrar app itself does not verify user ages; the App Store rating is the only age control we apply.
